Call to Emerging DIY & Punk Photographers for the 3rd Annual SEEN Photography Exhibition & Julia Gorton Award.

309 Punk Project invites emerging photographers based in Pensacola, FL, to submit to SEEN, a juried online exhibition that celebrates the work of emerging DIY/Punk photographers.

SEEN will be juried by former 309 AIR Julia Gorton. All photographic media will be considered. The selected photographer will receive a $1000 Cash Award and a Solo Exhibition at 309 Punk Project in the following year.

All submissions will be exhibited on our website for one year.

Call Opens: January 22nd, 2025
Submission Deadline: February 21st, 2025
Award Announcement: March 9th, 2025
Online Exhibition Dates: March 9th, 2025- March 9th 2026

  • Emerging Artist Definition: Must be in their first five years of practice.
  • Directions: Send up to five images (yourname1.jpg, yourname2.jpg) and the corresponding titling information (Name | Title | Date | Size | Medium) to [email protected], with the subject line SEEN.
  • Media: All photographic media are welcome.
  • Bio/Statement: An artist bio is a sentence or two describing biographical information about who you are and where you are from. The statement should explain the artist’s intentions for their body of work. A strong artist statement supplements the visual information in a portfolio or exhibition so that the reader/viewer can better understand it. (200 words or less) Need help?
