The 309 Punk Project Internship Program is dedicated to providing a free, dynamic, hands-on learning environment. We aim to inspire and cultivate DIY creativity, critical thinking, and a deep appreciation for DIY cultural heritage and preservation. Through immersive experiences, mentorship, and collaborative projects, interns will gain valuable skills in graphic design, curatorial practices, archival management, educational programming, and museum operations. We are committed to nurturing diverse talents and empowering individuals to contribute meaningfully to preserving and interpreting DIY art and DIY history for future generations.

309 Punk Project offers 30-90 hour unpaid internships to folks interested in developing hands on experience in the fields of Archival Methods, Art and Museum Studies and Graphic Design. Interns work closely with Valerie George, Britt McGowan and Christopher Satterwhite in their chosen fields in 309's Archives and with the 309 Artists in Residence.
